Loredana Podolska-Kint is a self-published poet with a blog and two books under her belt. She has been published in a fine line, Kate magazine, and ND magazine, as well as two international anthologies, and has been a guest on Radio Lollipop. She recently won the University of Auckland Population Health Prize for her poem on child obesity/diabetes and junk food marketing. Loredana studies medicine at the University of Auckland with a view to specialising in neurology or paediatrics.

She is also a self-proclaimed native bird enthusiast and taker of bad sunset photos. She has received two Blackbird Protostars passion project grants for her children’s medical poetry book, “What Are You Made Of?” and school poetry workshops. You can find her at her website or on instagram here.
