I ran the software and controls engineering team building systems for specialised construction machinery at Howick Ltd. Alongside that I had a brief stint as a technical co-founder for Shwoop, a guerilla marketing startup, and prior to that was finishing my degree in mechatronics and working as a front-end developer.
That engineers are highly sociable and talkative. You just need to tell them that they're wrong.
That super fast commercial transport might operate at scale in my lifetime - planes flying at the edge of space, trains gliding through vacuum tubes - imagine what it would be like for everyone to be within single-digit hours of each other!
