I'm all about the sweet spot where creativity, passion, experimentation, and measurement collide. It's what led me on an eclectic career path: restaurant manager, not-for-profit founder, advertising executive and Startmate fellow. But it wasn't until I landed a role as the marketing manager for an Aussie-based start-up that I truly found my strengths in using marketing and creativity to build innovative businesses, here I was tasked with bringing to life the future of self-driving cars through content, marketing, stories and passion.
Being in a AU start-up is where I fell in love with telling stories, leading me to launch a podcast where I am lucky enough to interview incredible operators in our ecosystem. Coming to do my hobby as a full time job for Blackbird was a no brainer.
I'm charged with communicating the stories of our founders, operators, programs and platforms out to the world to support the shaping of the future of culture in Australia and Aotearoa.
Before Blackbird I founded a women’s NFP, ran restaurants and bars, created advertising campaigns for global brands and built a marketing department for Blackbird portfolio company designing technology for self-driving cars.
I believe that radical creativity is the key to a 'protopian' society, a society that saves itself, people become good citizens and we all live happily ever after.
