Kia ora! I'm a born and raised Aucklander, with two Dutch parents, and zero Dutch language skills. I have my Honours degree in Biotechnology, and a career that spans some of New Zealand's most interesting start-ups, from rockets to digital humans. Outside of finding NZ's most ambitious founders, you can find me hosting dinner parties for friends, walking my dog Franklin around Cornwall Park, or spending long weekends down in my favourite place in the world - Matarangi Beach.
As an Associate on the NZ investments team, my mission is to find and invest in the best Kiwi founders, right from the very beginning.
I come from a strategic operator background, having worked directly alongside the Founders of some of NZ's most epic companies, Rocket Lab and Soul Machines. Most recently I've spent a few years living in Amsterdam, again in a Chief of Staff-style role, exploring my Dutch roots. I'm excited to bring strong founder empathy and an inside perspective to the hurdles many founders face.
I believe that contagious optimism about the future is one of the strongest competitive advantages.
