About Me

I had an international upbringing moving from country to country. While I’m French/Swedish I never had the pleasure of living in either country. I’ve lived Switzerland, Pakistan, Namibia, Mozambique, Brasil, the US and now Australia. That really shaped me in many ways and the punchline is I got to see the impact of technology and markets (both positive and negative) first hand. Witnessing that, the process by which the course of history is shaped by technology and its application fascinates me, and it’s been my life’s purpose to help support entrepreneurs who want to change the world for the better.

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
What do you do at Blackbird?

Community is the beating heart of Blackbird. I curate programs, build products, and foster networks to help our Founders succeed. Among other things, we recognise that one of the best ways to help Founders is to help their teams. I'm very focused on ensuring the breadth of support Blackbird has to offer extends beyond our Founder relationships to the entire teams in our portfolio.

What did you do before Blackbird?

I spent 5 years as the COO of SOCAP, a US based startup in the impact investing/social entrepreneurship space. Prior to that, I learned the ropes and climbed the ranks in Investment Banking in New York. When I was a kid, I grew up around the world including stints in Switzerland, Pakistan, Namibia, Mozambique and Brazil.

What do you believe that others do not?

Passion is more often the result of action than the cause of it.

What ideas are you excited by right now?
