I'm originally from Orange, a charming town unexpectedly known for its grapes (go figure). My academic journey led me to Sydney, where I studied Accounting and Finance at USYD. I've always had a deep interest in entrepreneurship, a passion that inspired me to start my own design agency in 2018 and then take part in the Startmate Student Fellowship. This eventually brought me to join the team at Blackbird. My interests lie in enhancing processes, diving into the possibilities of AI and automation, and unlocking the power of data. And to add a personal touch - I have a love for all dogs, and you can find me unwinding with a leisurely run every so often.
As part of the Funds Finance team at Blackbird, my day-to-day tasks range from valuing our investments on a quarterly basis, to brainstorming and implementing innovative improvements to our existing processes. For example, the rollout of a large-scale fund accounting platform or building products to make fund data more accessible to the team.
Right now, I'm fascinated by the potential of automation to revolutionise business processes and workflows.
