Claire is a public policy nut by day, and an avid gardener by weekends. When she is not helping form policy solutions to some of societies economic, social and environmental problems, you will find her in a pair of dungarees with a cup of tea in hand, building garden beds and friendships at the Taringa Community Garden. Claire started the community garden in early 2019, out of a yearning to bring her rural farming upbringing to the city. Building the garden has been a long, winding journey, and the Protostars grant has gone quite a way to support the garden implement new beds and plants, as well as helping Claire connect with likeminded creators and community makers.
