Ginger-Rose is a recent Egyptology graduate from Macquarie University (BAncHist). Although her previous publications concern the effects of landscape development on Egyptian material culture, Ginger's recent work concerns the conceptualisation of god in ancient Egypt - especially, how this is linguistically represented in religious texts. She has spoken in an international context on several occasions and will, in 2022, be guest lecturing at Kyoto University. In recent years, noteworthy awards of Ginger's include the Australian Centre for Egyptology's Egyptian Archaeology prize (2019) and Egyptian Religion prize (2020).
