My name is Margarita, but I often go by Rita.I'm a writer (both writing creative fiction for pleasure as well as contracted freelance journalism), producer, vocalist, DJ, label boss and publication editor based in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. I also do quite a bit of PR work - writing copy for different music agencies, and run a few different social media accounts for both my personal projects and others. I love building compelling narratives around the work of creatives/musicians I love, and sharing the underground art that makes me feel spell-bound. My favourite thing to do on any night is watch live music, and on any night is electronic music. I also love going to creative writing events, watching theatre, film, and engaging in any sort of art. I run the online publication Verve Zine, and I spend a lot of time trying to develop this project so that it can exist well into the future.
