Investment Notes: Enhance Labs Pre-Seed

We’re thrilled to back Enhance Labs, a new company at the very frontier of AI. Enhance is building a real-time AI copilot that brings context, intelligence, and speed to the way people work.

Enhance has moved with extraordinary pace since its inception. Already progressing through multiple product iterations, the company is one of our highest-conviction early bets in the emergent category of AI copilots.

Inventing the real-time AI copilot

Enhance is building what could be described as Cursor for white-collar workers. In the new field of context engineering, the language model with the broadest context wins. Enhance sits locally on your device, gathering signals across your software stack to construct in-the-moment prompts and steer complex tasks.

Imagine: “You have a hiring meeting in an hour, can I mock up a job description for a new junior developer?” Or while writing an investment memo: “You have usage data across Slack and Email, should I aggregate it?”

Their technology advantage comes from three core innovations: real-time, low-latency local inference; multi-modal context ingestion (audio, video, text); and agent-driven knowledge retrieval that can learn team-wide behaviours — what they call “tribal knowledge” — over time.

Breakneck product velocity and deep technical chops

Despite being newly incorporated, Enhance has already made rapid progress on its product vision. The founding team combines rare skill with relentless speed:

Haziq Nordin (ex-Amazon, technical founder) drives fast-paced technical development.

Jesse Head (ex-Google, design lead) brings impeccable design taste from products like Google Maps and self-driving software.

Mike Keating (Attract.ai, go-to-market) completes the team as a proven operator and seasoned entrepreneur.

The team is currently in San Francisco, road-testing their concept and beta product with early adopters.

Category creation with a compounding data advantage

Enhance is unashamedly first-principles: “you don’t build solutions, you discover them one at a time.” This approach has already shaped its pivots — from early experiments to today’s context-aware surface that anticipates user needs.

Real-time, edge-based agentic workflows are only now becoming feasible as LLMs and retrieval techniques open new possibilities. While many others focus narrowly on specific productivity use cases, Enhance’s thesis is bolder: to amass unique usage data that compounds into company-specific moats, and to ride the cost curve of foundational AI infrastructure as it becomes ever more accessible.

If successful, Enhance won’t just be another productivity tool — it could define a new category of collaborative context across all software users.

Path to leadership

This next phase will focus on rapid validation cycles through alpha testing and enterprise pilots. The goal is simple: build a product that becomes indispensable to daily work, trusted by teams across industries.

The ambition is to capture the foundational “collaborative intelligence” layer that every remote and hybrid team will come to expect. The opportunity resembles that of a generational SaaS application — but with the potential for deeper IP leverage and category ownership.

Backing wild ideas

We’re inspired by the speed, conviction, and ambition of Haziq, Jesse, Mike, and the team. Enhance embodies the kind of wild idea that makes Blackbird special: backing extraordinary founders at day zero and supporting them as they create new categories.

We can’t wait to see what Enhance Labs builds next.
