Christie Jenkins has worn the green and gold and represented Australia in 3 different sports - Trampolining, CrossFit and Beach Volleyball. She’s currently an Associate Investor at Blackbird, and an Advisor at Athletic Ventures. Prior to that she had a decade of management consulting experience working with the leaders of companies including ANZ, CBA, and Bupa. She speaks and writes about high performance psychology and how we can take the elite mindset from sport and apply it to business.
But, like most people, Christie started my career washing dishes. She talked myself into her first job when she was an underage minor. For her next job she taught people how to do backflips. She's worked in a chocolate shop (mostly for the free product), as a circus performer, and as a strategy consultant. But all of those jobs were side-hustles for the main one: Athlete.
