Bright Generation

Bright Generation is a one-week travelling careers fair, touring across rural and regional Western Australian schools, bringing resources and experience to support rural students in raising their ambitions and putting in place practical steps to create their dream future. Our one-day workshop brings together young leaders, changemakers, and industry representatives, to provide unique insight and mentorship to students, to answer their questions, to clarify their perceptions, and to foster their ambitions. Our workshops are designed to support students in creating a clear path towards reaching their dreams, combining aspiration-building and strategic career design activities, so students leave with both the inspiration and practical steps to setting and achieving their goals. We're following up our event by providing students with individual mentorship to equip them with the opportunities, networks, and skills to achieve their highest ambitions and become their best selves. Students have the opportunity to work with a member of the team 1-on-1, to develop a bespoke suite of academic, professional and extra-curricular opportunities tailored to the student's aspirations, interests, and circumstances. Our advisors put together a suite of opportunities to enrich students learning, development, exposure to industry experience, academic performance, and exposure to ongoing employment and learning opportunities, while also developing a rich resume of skills and experiences which prepare them to take on a diverse and challenging world of work.
