Girls with ASD often struggle to get diagnosed due to lack of research and are therefore more misunderstood than their male counterparts.At the same time, we also live in a neurotypical centric world and many neurodivergent people are not given the understanding or compassion needed regardless of gender. Through the documentary format, I want to explore the perspective of one person, enabling her to tell the story she is often denied.
