Ben is developing sustainable high-performance materials to increase sustainability of industries by using natural fibres native to New Zealand, all while building a new sector in Aotearoa, which will form the basis of the supply chain while contributing to the environment and employing thousands. He is first making a small range of products, including snowboards, skateboards and chairs, from this material to prove it is worth adopting in other industries.
